Our First Aid for Mental Health Courses <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have three levels of First Aid for Mental Health course from level 1-3 all of which can be delivered via face-to-face or via distance learning including a   combination of self-study and webinar. We provide a free annual update via webinar on all First Aid for Mental Health courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Level 1 First Aid for Mental Health <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This is an introductory course for those who have an interest in learning about first aid for mental health. Subjects covered include what is first aid for mental health, stress, and common mental health conditions. Upon completion successful delegates will be issued with a Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The qualification has 4 guided learning hours and can be delivered face-to-face or via distance learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessment <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Assessment is based upon the method of delivery classroom-based assessment is carried out via practical questioning and a question paper. Distance learning assessment is carried out via professional discussion with your trainer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nuco-L1-FA-Mental-Health-course<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Level 2 Award First Aid for Mental Health<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This qualification builds upon is covered in the level one qualification it also includes additional content on substance abuse and includes the First Health for Mental Health Action plan and covers how a positive mental health culture can be supported in a workplace. Upon completion successful delegates will be issued with a Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The qualification has 6 guided learning hours and can be delivered face-to-face or via distance learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessment <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Nuco-L2-FA-Mental-Health-course<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Level 3 Supervising\/Leading First Aid for Mental Health<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This qualification is the highest level in the suite of qualifications it is aimed at those who have been designated the role of mental health first aider in the workplace. It covers subjects from the level 1 and 2 qualifications but goes into further detail. It also covers how to start a supportive conversation and signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help. Upon completion successful delegates will be issued with a Level 3 Award in Supervising\/Leading First Aid for Mental Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The qualification has 12 guided learning hours and can be delivered face-to-face or via distance learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessment<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
