This qualification is ideal for those who want to have a good foundation knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace. It can be used as part of an induction programme for new staff or help to raise awareness with existing employees. The course covers a broad range of health and safety topics such as health and safety legislation, roles and responsibilities of the employer and employee. Upon completion successful delegates will be issued with a Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace which is valid for three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is delivered over 6 hours via face-to-Face learning or via webinar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Level 2 Award in Manual Handling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Manual handling accounts for over a third of workplace accidents resulting in injury to employees and additional costs for employers. This qualification is ideal for anyone who carries out regular manual handling for their job including school premises officers, warehouse staff, early years practitioners etc. The course covers a broad range of subjects including practical manual handling, risk assessment and roles and responsibilities of the employer and employee. Upon completion successful delegates will be issued with a Level 2 Award in Manual Handling in the Workplace which is valid for three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The course is delivered over 6 hours and includes theory and practical elements of workplace manual handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon completion successful delegates will be issued with a Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH which is valid for three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
